Yoga focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to enhance both physical and mental wellbeing. It originated in India many hundreds of years ago, and has continually evolved towards the form that is popular throughout the world today. There are many different styles of yoga practices today. My approach although rooted in this amazing centuries old tradition, is modern and straightforward in approach to make it accessible and welcoming to all.

Yes. Our classes are heated anywhere from 98-105 degrees.

The benefits of practicing yoga in a heated environment are endless, here are four main points to note:
Warms the body to allow for deeper stretching without injury
Facilitates an excellent cardiovascular workout
Helps to detoxify the body through sweating
Weight loss
Being in the heat may be a challenge in the beginning because most people are not accustomed to being in that kind of environment, and because most of us have an aversion to intense sweating. After a few classes however, most students begin to get acclimated to the temperature.
If a class is too hot we encourage you to take breaks on your mat or even walk out into the lobby.

Yes! This is the perfect SPɅCE for you! Many people think that they need to be flexible to begin yoga or need to know the names of the asanas (postures!). All you need is an open mind, heart and the desire to learn. Come as you are and you will find that yoga can transform your life both physically and spiritually.

Bring clothes in which you are free to move, stretch and sweat. Most women wear leggings and a workout top. Men tend to wear shorts and a t-shirt or vest, or just shorts. Please remove your shoes when entering the yoga space.

When it comes to food and digestion, each individual is different and needs to find out what works for them. In general we do not recommend a eating a large meal within 2 hours of a class - if you must eat within 2 hours of a class then a light meal or snack that it easily digested is best. It is recommended to be hydrated before a class too!

Water, a mat, a mat towel, and your beautiful self are the only things you will need to bring. We do provide shared blocks, straps and we have mats and towels available for rent.
-
If the class is not full, you can still lay down your mat. If you arrive late and the class is now at full max capacity with walk-ins you will still be charged for class.

No worries, we know life happens! All you have to do is take yourself out of the class through our app.

Remove your shoes upon entering studio.
Please do not wear any heavy scented perfumes or lotions.
Turn off your Cell Phone.
Clean up after yourself. The studio supplies everything needed for you in your yoga practice. We just ask that you put everything in its place when you are done. If you have used one of our mats, please use the spray bottle on the top shelf of the blanket bookcase to clean it before you put it away.
Do not skip Savasana. Your final relaxation in Savasana is an important part of your practice. Do not plan to leave class early. If you must, tell the teacher in advance, take a short Savasana before you go and leave before the class enters their Savasana. Please do not make a habit of this.
Arrive on Time. Arrive at least 10 minutes before the class begins. If you see the class before your class is still in Savasana, wait outside until it is over. If you do arrive late, enter quietly (if the class is not full). Just put your mat down and begin. Do not enter a class more than 10 minutes late if it has already started. Wait for the next class.
Be respectful - of your teacher and others. Enough said.
